Spirit Exhibition Announcement

It's that time again, time for another exhibition. It’s called ‘Spirit’ and features new and familiar paintings, prints, animation and glass by myself, Linda Anne Watson and Bob Kerr.

The preview takes place on Tuesday June 6th at 8pm at St Nicholas’ Church, Church Road, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne.and there will be live music provided by Jairus and drinks and nibbles. The exhibition then continues from Wednesday 7th to Tuesday 20th June, Mondays to Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm. If you are local, I hope to see you there.

An Angelic Introduction

What better way to introduce my blog than to plug my latest exhibition.

It's called Messenger RSVP and can be seen between 1pm and 4pm at St Bernadette's Church, Station Road, Wallsend, NE28 9UL until the 21st of October. The work shown is based on the theme of messages and messengers, which I have chosen to interpret as angels, which are defined in the Oxford dictionary as "messengers of God". The angel that is my muse is a life-size headstone found in San Michele, the cemetery island in Venice. Here are some images:
